Held at our headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska, Buildertrend University is a two-day conference for homebuilders, remodelers and specialty contractors. Held once monthly, this event consists of in-depth education on our tech and best business practices. You’ll leave knowing how to better leverage our platform to scale your business.

We encourage only customers who have completed onboarding with their Buildertrend coach to attend. Sessions offered will not be entry level, so we encourage our newer users to wait and attend a later session once they are better educated on the program.

Every registered Buildertrend University participant receives the following:

• Multiple educational sessions each day touching on different areas of the Buildertrend platform, including project management, job costing, lead management and communication. These sessions will show you how Buildertrend can make you more efficient, and – therefore – more profitable.
• Complimentary Wi-Fi at Buildertrend Headquarters
• Breakfast and coffee
• Lunch
• Hosted dinner the first night
• Unlimited snacks in between sessions and beer at the end of each day
• Transportation to and from the hotel
• Buildertrend University swag items
• Please note: The registration fee does not include airfare or lodging. Please plan accordingly. However, Buildertrend will have a block of rooms reserved at the Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel in Omaha, and we recommend using Kayak to secure the best airfare prices to and from Omaha.

Only registered guests can attend Buildertrend University.

Now that you’re signed up, make sure to keep an eye out for an email from the Buildertrend University team with additional steps. We’ll reach out to get the rest of your attendee information as well as dietary restrictions, etc.

• Transportation will not be provided to and from Omaha’s airport, Eppley Airfield. We encourage guests to utilize ride-sharing options such as Uber or Lyft, or take a cab, which can be arranged by calling zTrip at the following number: (402)-292–2222.
• Transportation for the rest of the conference will be provided for registered guests and sponsors from the Kimpton Cotton Hotel and Buildertrend Headquarters.

• Buildertrend will hold a block of rooms at the Kimpton Cottonwood hotel. The room rate is $145/night, excluding taxes and fees.

  • Shuttle transportation is provided from this hotel.

While smoking is not allowed inside our headquarters, we do have outdoor smoking areas. Guests must also abide by all smoking policies at food establishments and at the hotel.

Dietary restrictions and allergies will be requested upon registration, and proper measures will be taken to honor them.

During your time at Buildertrend University, we want you to be comfortable in our space. Please dress business casual. (Jeans are encouraged. Suits are unnecessary.)

Nebraska weather is known for being unpredictable. We advise bringing layers to wear indoors for the meeting rooms, as well as for your limited time outdoors.

No, Buildertrend University sessions will not be streamed or posted online. We will, however, send you informational materials after the conference is over to refer back to once you return home.

Yes. Wi-Fi is provided at the conference free of charge to all registered participants.
